Training Camp

Pay for training camp.

Refund Policy:  Training Camp is refundable until either: 1) All 50 spots have sold out and we’re turning away riders, or 2) We have to pay for camp expenses (Food, Insurance, etc..), approx. 2-4 weeks prior to camp.  Once those payments have been made, no refunds will be provided.  If you want to cancel after that date we will attempt to fill your spot, and then refund accordingly, but that is not guaranteed.

Join us for a tradition that has been taking place every season since 2012, our annual training camp to kick off the season.

Training camp is an immersive weekend filled with lots of riding, games,  information and fun. It gives you a chance to shake the cob webs off your legs, say hello to old team mates, meet new friends and get to know your coaches.

Camp this year will be held at Lake Cachuma in beautiful Santa Ynez. Campers will arrive Friday night 11/5/21 by their own transportation. The weekend will feature catered food, beverages and snacks. Campers will bring their own tents, or may pair up with their fellow team mates. Camp will end Sunday 11/7/21 @ 2pm and campers will return to Newbury Park by their own transportation.

Camp will be limited to 50 campers and will sell out. Look for camp registration to open on the team web site in late September. First come first served.

Camper check list: bike, riding clothes, non riding clothes, layer for hot to very cold weather, bike lights front and rear, sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping pad or single air mattress, flashlight or headlamp, toiletries, shower towel, exercise towel/mat, sunscreen

Note: normally we provide bus transportation as well, but that is being skipped this year, due to concerns about Covid.  Based on that, the cost has been reduced from $180 to $140 .
