Training Camp

$300.00

Pay for training camp.

Note:  Due to inflation, the price of training camp has increased.  We do not make any money on this, we only cover our costs.  Last year, the camp was $240, but the cost of the bus, fuel for 2 team trailers, and the food for the kids – it’s all gone up.  We’re doing everything we can to keep the price as low as possible.

Refund Policy:  Training Camp is refundable until either: 1) All 50 spots have sold out and we’re turning away riders, or 2) We have to pay for camp expenses (Food, Insurance, etc..), approx. 2-4 weeks prior to camp.  Once those payments have been made, no refunds will be provided.  If you want to cancel after that date we will attempt to fill your spot, and then refund accordingly, but that is not guaranteed.

Description

Join us for a tradition that has been taking place every season since 2012, our annual training camp to kick off the season.

Training camp is an immersive weekend filled with lots of riding, games,  information and fun. It gives you a chance to shake the cob webs off your legs, say hello to old team mates, meet new friends and get to know your coaches.

Camp this year will be held at Lake Cachuma in beautiful Santa Ynez. Campers will depart NPHS at 4pm Friday 10/20/23 and be driven by bus to Lake Cachuma. The weekend will feature catered food, beverages and snacks. Campers will bring their own tents, or may pair up with their fellow teammates. Camp will end Sunday 10/22/23 @ 2pm and campers will return to Newbury Park by bus around 4pm.

Camp will be limited to 50 campers and will sell out. Look for camp registration to open on the team web site in late September. First come first served.

Camper check list: bike, riding clothes, non riding clothes, layer for hot to very cold weather, bike lights front and rear, sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping pad or single air mattress, flashlight or headlamp, toiletries, shower towel, exercise towel/mat, sunscreen
